More about the founders

Louisa Fitch

Louisa Fitch is Silent Deer’s Creative Director. She trained as a sculptor before graduating from London Metropolitan University with a MA in Computer Imaging and Animation.

Louisa’s work as Designer/Director of commercials and broadcast graphics at V12, Los Angeles, California won numerous awards.

Her considerable portfolio of graphic and live action includes work for clients such as Next, Disney, Sony Ericsson and Peugeot at a variety of London-based production companies including The Clinic, Toast, Love, Duke and Irresistible.

In 2007, Louisa founded her own motion graphics company, Sugarway completing large scale graphics projects for HSBC, Manchester United FC and McLaren. She teamed up with Neil Jeffries in 2009 to establish the Silent Deer Collective where she has completed further exceptional work in the digital arena.

Louisa spends her spare time like most working mums, tidying up and doing the washing!

Neil Jeffries

Neil has worked for over 20 years in the design and marketing world.  In 2001 Neil co-founded award-winning digital agency NOWWASHYOURHANDS which he ran as Managing Director working with clients such as MTV, Sony Entertainment and BBCi.  From there he launched full service agency Playgroup working as Operations Director.  He set up Silent Deer with Louisa Fitch in 2009.

Alongside Silent Deer, Neil is also joint founder of Digital Leaf a company that builds interactive children’s stories on iDevices. He is digital director of oddizzi.com, an educational brand for children aimed at making geography fresh and exciting. He has three children all of whom keep stealing his iPad and his iPhone!

The collective

Silent Deer is a lean mean fighting machine and we pride ourselves on working with only the best we can find. We use a collective of very talented people on delivering the perfect project for our clients. These are people that we have worked with for many years and know and trust and that are specialists in their own right.
